What's up with this site?

Q: Why did we build this site?
A: Who knows? It was raining outside and we were bored. Actually we thought it might be a cool way for our family to keep in touch.

Q: How can I help?
A: If you have some web skills you can help with the pages. We will be adding a family photo section later. You can also send a small ( $5 or less) donation to help offset the cost of domain registration and hosting fees - but it's not required. Uncle Bill and Mike donated enough to keep the site going until 2006.

Q: What if I want to suggest something for the site?
A: Hey, it's your site too! If you have an idea for something you want to add to the site, please let us know. Many of the current features were added as a result of family feedback (like the message boards and chat room).

Q: Are you really going camping?
A: Durn tooting! Our first trip was in September 2003 and the following 15 campers were there: Mike Edie, Jeff, Rick, Cindy, Richie, Carol, Jon, Wesli, Tal, Angel, Tim, Amberly, Emily and Olivia.

August 2004 saw our numbers rise to 29. The list of campers was: Mike, Edie, Jeff, Rick, Cindy, Richie, Bill, Jackie, Jerry, Sharol, Cindy, Michael, Debbie, Haley, Keisha, Becky, Eric, Nick, Carol, Jai, Jon, Wesli, Kip, Tal, Angel, Tim, Amberly, Emily, Olivia.

We are already planning the 2005 trip.

Q: Where did we go on our family camping trip?
A: Kodachrome Basin State Park. We'll be camping in the Oasis group camping area. More information can be found on the camping trip page.

Q: How many people showed up?
A: For our first trip in 2003, we had 15 people. the 2004 trip had 29 (not including the dogs). You need to let us know if you want to join us. The site will hold up to 100 people.

Q: How can I find out more?
A: Go to the Contact Us Page and sign up for our mailing list to receive regular updates. Tal will be organizing the event this year.
